· Youth Extravaganza held at South Greene Ballpark

· 2007 tree grant submitted
· N.C. D.O.T. began Kingold Boulevard resurfacing project
· Third Tree City U.S.A. and second Growth Award presented to

· Walter Rabb former Snow Hill Billies baseball player died
· Snow Hill inquired into G.C.’s participation with water tank maintenance
· Old Junior High School selected as preferred site for Public Safety Complex

May:
· Water and wastewater rate structure reviewed
· Following retreat Town Council approved strategic objectives
· Amendments made to the Personnel Policy increasing employee benefits
· N.C. Cooperative Extension hosted S.E. District Agricultural Tourism Spring Tour

June:
· Snow Hill officials participated in Town Hall Day
· G.C. supported $30K of the $90K requested for water tank maintenance
· Snow Hill to no longer pay residents serving on governing bodies
· U.S. Veterans Supplemental Burial Benefit policy approved
· Parks, Recreational Facilities and Places Deposit Policy approved
· Water rate increased for consumers of more than 4,000 gallons per month
· Fiscal Year 2007 Budget approved

· Board meetings changed to 2nd Mondays at 7:30 pm/4th Wednesdays at 9:00 am
· Enhancement Projects Reimbursement Policy adopted

October:
· Julius Graham, two years old, died as a result of a dog bite mishap
· Mr. & Mrs. Zeb Wade honored for 50th Wedding Anniversary
· 2007 Urgent Repair grant program application submitted
