New rooftops mark Snow Hill’s continuing growth.

Genesis Hills—Building activity has increased in Genesis Hills, Snow Hill’s newest subdivision located on the western edge of town. Sales have increased this year and builder M. J. Bradshaw & Co. of Wilson, NC completed four homes and is adding four more for Wilson Community Improvement Association.

Hunters Trace—Three homes are have been completed and two are nearing completion in Hunters Trace Subdivision. M.T.Sugg, Co. of Snow Hill has built three of these new homes, Bobby Taylor has completed a new home and added four more clay tennis courts and extensive landscaping nearby at Greenridge Racket & Swim Club. Larry House Construction also built a home in the neighborhood.

Historic District—A new craftsman style cottage stands overlooking NW Second Street at Corbett St.

The Hamptons—Sasser, Inc. of Grifton, NC has begun major site grading work for streets and nineteen single-family homes in the Hamptons, a planned residential development to be built off the East Side of US 258S.

The property is owned by Ham Produce Company, Inc., Bobby Ham, President. Barrow & Barrow, PA prepared the preliminary subdivision and street layout. Appian Consulting Engineers, PA prepared water and sewer systems plans. Loretta Barrow is marketing the planned community.

Dialysis Center—Developer builder Hillco Support Services and Neil Realty Company of Kinston is constructing the new DIVITA, medical dialysis center at 1025 Kingold Blvd.

Conference Center—C.A. Lewis Construction of Greenville, NC is completing construction of the Greene County Health Care, Inc. Administrative Conference Center on Professional Drive.

Kingold Village—Developer Larry House is awaiting final water and sewer approvals from the State as part of the preparations for the thirty-four home Kingold Village development.

Road Improvements—NC Department of Transportation has completed adding the right turn lane in front of the McDonalds and BoJangles restaurants. Traffic seems to flow better at the intersection of Kingold and SE Second.

NCDOT has also finished paving and marking Kingold Blvd. and Greenridge Road.
