Town of Snow Hill in Greene County, North Carolina

The public is invited to a special meeting of the Snow Hill Board of Commissioners at 6:30 p.m. Monday December 11, 2006 at Town Hall, 201 N. Greene Street to learn more about plans for the Community Center Enhancement Project. Plans for the recreation center are currently being updated prior to the Town submitting a new funding request to the NC Parks and Recreation Trust Fund. Snow Hill Recreation Commission, town staff and Contentnea Development Partnership are currently working on the updated plans and wish to have additional public comments about the project. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and make suggestions on the plans for facilities, programs, and activities.

Plans call for a 2,250 square foot expansion to the existing 100’X30’ foot building along with new recreation facilities and activities at the four acre park site.
