PUBLIC NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING

The Snow Hill Town Council will conduct a public hearing concerning the proposed
FY 13-14 Budget on Monday, 13 May 2013 at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible. The hearing will be held in Town Hall located at 201 N. Greene Street, Snow Hill, N.C.

A copy of the proposed budget is available for public review in the Office of the Town Clerk in the Snow Hill Town Hall. Citizens are invited to attend this public hearing and provide written or oral comments. The proposed budget is summarized as follows:

General Fund                          $824,800
Enterprise Fund                      $1,041,600

Persons with disabilities who require special accommodations or auxiliary aids should contact the Town Clerk at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled hearing to make any special arrangements.  For more information call 747-3414.

4th Annual Concert in the Courtyard - June 11

The Fourth Annual Concert in the Courtyard sponsored by the Greene County Museum will be held on Tuesday, June 11 beginning at 7:00pm.  The concert this year features the Malpass Brothers and their beloved traditional country music.  The courtyard is located in the Historic District of downtown Snow Hill, NC at the corner of North Greene Street and Northwest Third Street.  Bring your own lawn chairs.  The concert is free to the public but donations will be gratefully accepted.  Soda drinks will be on sale.  The concert is provided through the Grassroots Grant of the North Carolina Arts Council.
