Town of Snow Hill in Greene County, North Carolina

(Snow Hill, North Carolina)—A community Veterans Day ceremony will be held at the National Guard Armory on Wednesday November 11, 2009 at 11:00 am. A ceremony honoring veterans of all the armed forces will be held. US Army veteran James Speight will address the assemblage. Speight, a Purple Heart recipient and disabled veteran of the Vietnam War, is a Walstonburg native.

All local and area veterans and family members are cordially invited. Community residents are also encouraged to attend to show support for those who have defended our freedom on the seas, land and in the skies.

The National Guard Armory is located at 312 SE Second Street in Snow Hill, North Carolina.
